GILBERT CORSEY
Gilbert Corsey brings award-winning broadcast journalism experience to the Championship Wresting from Atlanta team. He is a storyteller at heart, who built dual careers in television news and professional wrestling and achieved success in both fields.
Gilbert has worked with IMPACT! Wrestling, Ring of Honor and many other regional promotions. For a decade he led the broadcast team as a host and play-by-play commentator for Ohio Valley Wrestling, a former WWE developmental territory and behind the scenes wore many hats in management and creative.
As a local news anchor and reporter Gilbert purposely sought positions in states with strong wrestling roots. He worked in newsroom in Texas and North Carolina and is currently a main anchor and special assignment reporter for WDRB-TV, the FOX affiliate in Louisville, Kentucky. Gilbert’s earned more than a dozen Emmy Awards in his 15 year television career, including two of them for stories on professional wrestling.
Fans can expect that same excellence as Gilbert calls the action for Championship Wrestling from Atlanta. Look for him to take you beyond the squared circle, digging out in-depth stories on the wrestlers you love or the ones you love to hate.
JONNY LOQUASTO
Jonny Loquasto has been in the United Wrestling Network family for over a decade. He began his career as an interviewer on the very first episode of Championship Wresting from Hollywood in 2010.
Over the next 9 years, he added play by play and color commentary to his resume. Loquasto then received an opportunity to join the WWE announce team in 2019, once again wearing a multitude of hats, including play by play commentary, ring announcing, hosting live events, and backstage interviews.
He also has a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy and worked on the frontline in an acute care hospital during the pandemic. Loquasto is thrilled to be back with the UWN and excited to be on the announce team for Championship Wrestling from Atlanta.
ALYSSA MARINO
Alyssa Marino found her way into the world of Sports Entertainment after earning her degree as a classical vocalist from the University of Hartford. Upon relocating to Los Angeles and rediscovering a love for professional wrestling, she began to pursue training as a manager and announcer at Santino Bros
Wrestling Academy.
In the midst of this Manager / Announcer Program, Alyssa got the opportunity to join the United Wrestling Network as an on-air correspondent, conducting interviews with wrestlers on the Championship Wrestling from Hollywood broadcast team.
Alyssa spent time traveling the West as a commentator and ring announcer, including an appearance as a guest commentator at Ring Of Honor’s “Death Before Dishonor” in 2019. The following year, Alyssa worked as a Live Event Host for WWE’s NXT brand. In this role, she conducted WWE Exclusive Interviews and ring announced for NXT Live Events. Later that year, she returned to the United Wrestling Network to join the broadcast team for multiple editions of PrimeTime Live and Championship Wrestling from Hollywood.
Alyssa currently hosts her own YouTube show called Let’s Get Cereal, where she reviews cereals and interviews figures in the professional wrestling world. She is honored to serve as a commentator for multiple wrestling companies and recently made a return to WWE on WWE Watch Along and WWE Great Debate.
DAVID MARQUEZ
For more than 3 decades David Marquez has been a leader in the pro wrestling world. Many know him as an on-air interviewer, but behind the scenes he’s one of the world’s most successful live event promoters and television producers.
David is an Emmy Award Winning Broadcaster who was a driving force behind the relaunch of the National Wrestling Alliance and his company produces the wildly successful NJPW Strong among other programming.
